Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a client located in Austin, TX.

Project Managers (PMs) are responsible for the end-to-end project management and successful delivery of concurrent projects across multiple media channels including, but not limited to digital, video, print and social media. The position calls for broad knowledge of the digital and print landscape and the ability to lead campaigns in close collaboration with internal teams, marketing partners, business stakeholders and external technical teams. PMs serve as the day-to-day contact for marketing partners on projects in a cohort. The PM ensures the team is set up for success, and helps the team stay focused on the goals.
PMs are effective communicators between marketing partners and agency stakeholders (technical/non-technical). At any given time, PMs must be able to manage a workload of approximately 5-25 projects with life cycles of several weeks to several months.
Ideal Experience:
Qualified candidates have a minimum of 3-5 years of account and project management experience working directly with clients, creative teams, and technical teams. A strong solutions-oriented approach, user-experience focus and understanding of agency processes required. • Develop strong partnerships with the account team to provide a unified voice of the agency to marketing partners. • Provide accurate assessments and counsel during project pipeline planning and project intake conversations, to determine feasibility, resource availability, and completeness of information for scoping. • Run projects of all Tiers with agency resources, from project intake to delivery to project retrospective analysis. • Manage marketing partner expectations on projects, including timing, scope, and next steps. • Manage workflow using the agency’s project management • Experience with enterprise level project management tools such as Workfront, JIRA or Basecamp. • A positive attitude and the flexibility to operate in an environment with deadlines and changing demands. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience in highly regulated environments or at a financial institution is a plus.
